When Phil from Giving 2 Ghana visited Ghana in 2020 he saw a group of children with no shoes on walking to school, he saw them enter Aglego Roman Catholic School where he spoke to the principal and learnt that 90% of the children have no shoes, there are only 25 desks and chairs shared between 250 students and no computers.
Giving 2 Ghana then made it our mission to help, we raised 1500 cedis to provide more desks, chairs and a computer. We are currently asking for donations for shoes for the pupils and money to provide 3 more computers for the school
Pupils at Aglego have to carry desks and chair to different classrooms between lessons are there are not enough. Giving 2 Ghana hopes to raise enough money so that eventually all pupils will have a desk and chair
